Is there a hack to use a webcam as a camera phone?
Has anyone heard of a hack to use a webcam as a portable video camera? Ideally, I would like to connect a data storage device and webcam that uses Memory Stick PRO Duo flash cards. The first obvious choice would be to use the PSP and a webcam, but the only option seems to be going here to buy! cam. Connecting a webcam for the PSP may be possible with homebrew, but online information is unclear. Are there other solutions that someone heard talk? Ideally, I would setup a little light that I can attach to an oar (like Olympic rowing boat). It should be light, small, battery power, and cheaper than the go! Came to about $ 50. Putting a laptop in the boat is not an option. I will also need to be able to build airtight cases for her from plumbing parts in plastic or sealed boxes kayak storage type from MEC.
