Is sea kayaking Canadian canoe-worthy? (Link)?

Depends on what you mean by seaworthy. Almost anything can be taken to the sea in areas protected by a calm day. But you have 2 problems with any major Canadian canoe if you have conditions. On the one hand, it will be difficult to manage when there is wind because there are lots of boats exposed to wind compared to a traditional kayak. In addition, in rough water, waves splash over the top of the dugout and cons quickly flooding unless you cover a spraydeck or fill in as many as possible of it with bags float.
