Kayaking Palm
What kinds of things do you like doing in West Palm Beach, FL?
My girlfriend and I are going to West Palm Beach, FL for a wedding in early August. We have some ideas on what we will do everything we're theirs: Rapids Water Park, kayaking, fireworks (they are illegal where we are now), the Science Museum in Ft Lauderdale a day or 2 excurision to Orlando to see Disney stuff (although we do not want to spend too much time there because our hotel is already paid in Boca Raton, which is near West Palm Beach). I used to live in West Palm Beach but I know it has changed a lot since I was last here and my girlfriend was there once .. and this is our first vacation in an extremely long time. So I want to make sure we have a good time. What kind of things did you do there, what ideas do you have that are specific in the region, and if you live there or know the area, What suggestions do you have for what we can do what we cannot in Connecticut (which is almost everything)?
If you like to play, there's the Palm Beach Kennel Club (Dog), or you could go to the Casino of Coconut Creek on Sample near Boca. You can take it on the Palm Beach Princess (nice buffet for brunch or supper) and sail for about 5 hours and other Entertainment is on board, too. Of course you guys could go cruising in Palm Beach and watch the big hotels on the beach. If she loves shopping, take him to the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens. Of course there is the beach, and depending on your taste in entertainment, there's Rachel's Steakhouse on 45th Street. Some couples go there for fun. If you remember, he is supposed to be a club of "class" gentleman's agreement. If you guys want a taste of something special. Enjoy your stay in sunny West Palm Beach. Dude, I'm home sick. I moved to Atlanta last year. Miss the sunshine! Have fun, though.
